The nose is reminiscent of fresh strawberries, a firm acidity adds freshness to the palate. The wine is lively and clean on the palate with a good finish. Pinotage grapes often can create a beautiful rosé, of which this wine is a fine example. It is a lovely refreshing summer wine. 飲む前にワインを冷やしておくことをお勧めします。 It is advisable that the wine is chilled prior to drinking. ピノタージュ１００％。alc: 12.78 ph: 3.31 rs: 2.90 ta: 5.66 ワイナリーは、ステレンボッシュのボテラリー(Bottelary)地区にあります。 ぶどう畑の歴史は、１７０４年にまでさかのぼり、当時この畑をHazendalと称して所有していたChristoffel Haazewinkeは、その一部を１８００年代にJan Christoffel Bosmへ売却し、Ｍｏｏｉｐｌａａｓ（美しい畑という意味）名乗るようになりました。１８３３年に建てられたモイプラースの建造物は、新古典主義の建築として国定建築物に指定されており、１９６３年にNicolas Roosの所有となり、１９８０年に栽培家として息子のTielman(テルマン）、そして、１９８３年に醸造家としてもう一人の息子であるLouis Roos（ルイス　ルー）へと世代交代してから、ワイナリー名、「モイプラース」としてワインがリリースされました。 日本への初出荷は２００３年にさかのぼり、ソービニヨンブラン、ピノタージュ、カベルネソービニヨンが輸入されていましたが、中断を余儀なくされました。そして、２０１７年よりシュナンブランを皮切りに、再上陸を果たしました。 海抜230メートルに広がる畑はミクロクリマの影響を受け、そこにできる葡萄は品種の特性をしっかりと発揮しています。 Mooiplaas is a historic and traditional working wine estate, bought by Nicolaas Roos in 1963. He was joined by his two sons Tielman, viticulturist, (1980) and Louis, winemaker (1983). They celebrated 50 years on the farm in 2013. The history of the farm dates back to 1806, with　 the manor house on the estate – a national monument – an impressive example of Cape Dutch architecture. Mooiplaas Wine Estate and Private Nature Reserve are situated among the majestic mountains and fertile valleys in the Stellenbosch Winelands, approximately 40km east of Cape Town. Mooiplaas is a historic and traditional working wine farm. The vineyards lie on steep slopes of ancient mineral-rich soils in the Bottelary Hills of Stellenbosch, overlooking Cape Town. Here Tielman and Louis Roos produce a range of environmentally friendly wines rooted in tradition and artisan techniques that make the most of the unique terroir.
